Notebook Games by QuietByte

Effective Date: August 29, 2026

Overview

QuietByte ("we," "our," or "us") builds Notebook Games, a collection of hand-drawn paper-and-pencil mini games. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data — which is simple, because we don't collect any.

Information Collection

Notebook Games does not collect, store, or share personal information for analytics, advertising, or tracking purposes. Specifically, Notebook Games:

Local Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device only:

This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to any server, and is deleted when you delete the app.

Motion Sensor

A few games (Paper Airplane, Doodle Jump) use your device's motion sensor for tilt-to-steer gameplay. Motion data is processed entirely on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Sharing Features

Daily challenge results can be shared via the standard iOS share sheet. Sharing is entirely optional and initiated by you; the shared image is generated on your device and we never see it.

Permissions

Notebook Games does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location.

In-App Purchases

Notebook Games offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade processed through Apple's App Store. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Third-Party Services

Notebook Games does not connect to any external services. The app functions entirely on-device and works completely offline.

Children's Privacy

Notebook Games does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the effective date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
